Oranmore is alive with excitement this morning as we prepare for the official launch of our exciting fundraiser. Taking place at the award-winning Keanes Bar & Restaurant (Kudos), we will be gathering to kick off a campaign that offers one lucky person the life-changing chance to win a stunning home in the heart of Galway City.
This fundraiser is a vital milestone for our club. We will be discussing our big plans for the future of the Chubb Renville Gaelic Grounds. Having recently opened our state-of-the-art 4G astro pitch, we are now focused on Phase 2. The proceeds from this draw will allow us to build much-needed dressing rooms, ensuring our players have world-class facilities for generations to come.
We are equally thrilled to highlight our partnership with COPE Galway. During the launch, we will speak about the €25,000 fixed donation that will be made to the charity from this fundraiser. This contribution will directly support their essential work providing homelessness, domestic abuse, and senior support services across the Galway community.
Our team will be showcasing the incredible prize: a magnificent 2-bed ground-floor apartment in Woodquay. Valued at €330,000, this beautifully finished home sits right on the doorstep of Galway’s most iconic landmarks, from Eyre Square to the Salthill Promenade. As Padraig O’Callaghan, Chairperson of the Renville Management Committee said, “What an opportunity for someone to win a home worth €330,000 and be mortgage free in just a few months time. The atmosphere will be electric, with Ronan Lardner from Galway Bay FM broadcasting live from the venue starting at 12:00 PM. We will be conducting interviews with special guests and club legends throughout the afternoon.
